It's the most wonderful time of the year! Along with the season comes lots of reasons to spend time along Las Olas Boulevard...beginning with our Christmas on Las Olas Celebration on November 28. The forecast calls for snow as we close the Boulevard to traffic and transform it into a winter wonderland. There will be carolers, special performances by local schools, a snow mountain - courtesy of Starbucks - and refreshments served at the Riverside Hotel's famous Ice Bar. And of course, Santa Claus will be on hand to meet all the kids - even those who've been a little naughty this year. Our Christmas celebration is just the beginning. Every Tuesday in December we'll be celebrating a different seasonal cultural tradition, including Hanukkah and Fiesta de Reyes.

The Riverside Hotel Unveils its Latest 'HotSpot,' Preston's
In celebration of its 70th anniversary, the Riverside Hotel unveiled extensive renovations and upgrades to its entire lobby. A 10-foot aquarium now serves as the main focal point in the room, but out of all of the new amenities, the hotel is most passionate about its new lounge, Preston's. read more
